During our 15-minute phone consultation I’ll ask you a little bit about what is bringing you to therapy. You are welcome to give as much or as little information as you would like. Based on what’s bringing you here, I’ll share a brief overview of my personalized approach to address your therapy goals. You will also have time to ask any questions you want. Some people ask me about my background, approach, fees, and length of treatment.

-
Ideally, we would meet at least once per week in the beginning. This helps to build a strong therapeutic relationship build progress towards your therapy goals. As your treatment progresses, we will discuss decreasing the frequency of sessions. Your success is largely dependent on your level of commitment and attendance of sessions.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (877) 267-2323.

I have several clients that opt to pay out of pocket. Paying out of pocket offers several benefits:
Protects your privacy and confidentiality
Allows for more personalized care and freedom in treatment
No limitations on number of sessions or types of treatment.
If you prefer to ay out of pocket, I can provide you with a "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of your costs.
